Inventors Day

The children were asked to create an invention inspired by something they are interested in.  On 12th February, the children brought in their amazing inventions of all different sizes and colours.

The children had the opportunity to show their special invention to the class and describe what it is and how it works.

Next they drew a picture and labelled it.  They explained what it does or how it works.

After that, they thought about how they could improve their invention if they made it again.

Finally, they had the opportunity to visit the other Year 1 and Year 2 classes and write a comment about what they thought about other inventions.  They enjoyed this task very much.
