General Teaching Assistant KS2

We are seeking to employ a highly experienced teaching assistant to support the general learning of pupils in KS2 classes. 

The successful applicant will work under the direction of the class teacher and school leaders to lead and organise activities for pupils within a Key Stage 2 class.  An ability to cover the class in an HLTA capacity would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will support the learning needs at an appropriate level for individuals to be able to access the curriculum and have a safe and enjoyable experience in school. The role may include running reading, writing and maths interventions, for small groups and individuals. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is a requirement for this role.
