Chrunchem Hall Descriptions

As part of our block on Matilda, we wrote descriptions of Crunchem Hall, the school Matilda goes to. Would you want to go there?

Here are some of our descriptions:

As Matilda stepped out of the car, she felt a cold, soft breeze come across her rather small body. As Matilda reached the wrought iron gates, she looked up at the ivy covered school. She took a ginormous gulp. She was absolutely petrified. The giant shadow of the school loomed over hundreds of terrified students. Matilda was scared but she was very grateful for going to school because Matilda's family doesn't respect her that much. She thought to herself, just because it looks a bit like a terrifying school, doesn't mean they don't teach well does it? Obviously her brain needed to think again.
